Just "Too Cute"!

For some reason, Saturday night I was up again at 2:00 a.m.  I hate nights when I can't sleep but at least now I don't have to be up at 6:00 a.m. so it's not really that big a deal anymore.  Anyway, rather than laying there tossing and turning, Duncan and I wound up out in the livingroom and I put on Animal Planet.  We'd been watching it during the day so why not in the middle of the night, right?!  Their show "Too Cute" was on.  If you haven't seen this, it really is appropriately named -- all about the cutest kittens and they follow their progress from birth to adoption.  Well, Duncan was absolutely fascinated by the kittens on tv so there we sat -- him watching tv and me watching him!  What is it about this guy that everything he does makes me smile?  Even when he's naughty, he's just so darned cute that I have a hard time being stern with him!  And, boy, does he KNOW it!  When I catch him doing something he shouldn't be, he gives me this "But mama, don't you love me anymore?" look and I just melt into a big ol' puddle!  Guess it must just be love!
