New explorations, new disappointments!

Duncan has finally conquered the top of the wall unit!  However, his victory was short-lived.  Mean ol' mama took all the palms off!  For years now, every Palm Sunday I dutifully brought my palms home from church and put them on top of the wall unit so they'd be out of harm's way with Sybil and Esa and life was good.  Then along came Duncan!  I was convinced it was a simple matter of him being a "tree dweller" that held the attraction for the top of the wall unit but it seems it was those palms that held the magic.  So after all that work figuring out how to get up there, poor little Duncan's dreams were dashed when I cleaned out the palms!  Now I REALLY have to get to Petco and buy some more of his favorite kitty teasers!  Of course, now there's the temptation of the kitty angel hanging from the ceiling and just out of reach from the wall unit as you can see in the second picture!
